Anti-Static
For environments where flammable materials are stored it is important that any electro-static discharge is dissipated faster than it accumulates ensuring a safe working environment. We are able to lay floors with an anti-static finish that fulfils the outlined criteria of ANSI/ESD S20.20
Anti-Slip
With heavy machinery and personnel working within the same environment, anti-slip flooring is key. Areas including loading bays can benefit from anti-slip flooring. To achieve this finish, aggregates are added to the base layer which in turn enhances the traction under foot.
Chemical Protection
Resin floor properties allow us to provide a solution to suit the needs of the chemicals found at the facility. Should a chemical be spilled it can be cleaned without damaging the flooring. Combined with an anti-slip property this ensures the safety of those working where spillages can occur.
Flat Level Flooring
With high level stacking featured predominately in these facilities, a flat, level and seamless floor is a notable requirement. A seamless resin floor* can provide this for you with no need for joints which reduces trip hazards, and uneven unsafe flooring on which to stack goods. *(providing the sub base meets set requirements)
Low temperature installation
Should you require a seamless durable floor in a cold storage facility, we have a solution available where a full cure can be achieved at a lower temperature.
Heavy Wearing/ Impact Resistant
When laid on a concrete floor which has been prepared and laid correctly, the compressive strength of a resin floor can be greater than concrete as a result of the chemical reaction between the two properties. The resin floor also has a degree of flexibility under stress creating a durable, impact absorbing flooring solution.
Anti-Slip Finish
Safety is paramount in a commercial kitchen. Every day it is subjected to oil, grease, water and other food substances and chemicals that could create a hazard for employees. We are able to offer resin floor solutions that exceed the slip resistant values set out in the ADA and OSHA guidelines.
Hygenic
Unlike traditional tiles and vinyl sheets that were used in commercial kitchens, seamless resin flooring provides a non-porous surface with no awkward joints leaving little place for bacteria to hide and grow.
